Cyclists, former cyclists and those who would just like to give it a go. Weedon Lois & Weston have a cyclists club known as The Wobblers (in some cases appropriate).
We meet to cycle the lanes & byways around us. Rides vary in length form 10 to 20 miles generally and take between 1 & 2 hours. We do a few special rides which are a bit longer. The Wobblers is not a formal club and you can turn up as often as suits you. The only qualification is to have access to a bike (this is mandatory), If you haven't been before, come and give it a try, it's a great way to socialise, see new bits of the beautiful countryside around us and get a bit of exercise.
If you want to give it a go, we meet out side the Crown (and usually finish inside the Crown)Mondays 6.00pm (except bank holidays which are Tuesday 6.00pm), Saturdays 9.30am.
Our season starts in the middle of March and continues until the end of October, a total of approx. 60 rides per year. If you are planning to ride in next years Tour de France the Wobblers is not for you, but if you fancy a bit of fun exercise come and give us a try.
